Vanaheim Labs

Vanaheim Labs

Products and experiments we develop ourselves, from professional documents to art and personal collections.

Why Labs exists

We run what we recommend.

Labs is where we develop our own products. It is also where our approach to building gets tested on our own time and money, before it reaches a client engagement.

The projects cover different markets. Each begins with a task we understand well enough to improve, and each keeps us close to the design, engineering and commercial details we advise on elsewhere.

Three things we’re building

Documents & AI Docgent

Professional documents for agent-assisted work.

AI agents can draft substantial documents quickly, but each revision needs a way to be checked and carried forward. Docgent gives agents a structured document workflow and gives people visibility over changes, versions and the final presentation.

Teams can produce reports, proposals and plans with agents while keeping a person responsible for review. Learn more at docgent.io.

Who it’s for
For people producing substantial documents with AI agents who need to review and publish the result.
Focus
Structured document production, human review, version history and consistent presentation.
Art & the home FramePilot

Art that feels at home.

FramePilot explores a more personal way to discover and display art on Samsung Frame TVs. It brings together museum collections, generated artwork and personal taste so the screen can feel more like part of a home.

Who it’s for
For people who want the art on their screen to reflect their taste and change with it.
Focus
Personalisation, art discovery and the relationship between digital products and physical spaces.
Books & collections Shelfie

Your shelves, beautifully organised.

Shelfie explores an easier way to catalogue a physical book collection. Scan a barcode, collect the book’s details and browse what is on your shelves from a personal digital library.

Who it’s for
For readers and collectors with shelves full of physical books.
Focus
Fast capture, useful book data and an enjoyable way to browse a personal collection.
Applied research

The work behind the products

We use our own agent systems in daily work and study the practical questions they raise: how agents retain useful context, coordinate tasks, use tools safely and show enough of their work for people to review it.

What we learn feeds into the products and into advisory work with other businesses.
